NTN Innovation Booster Microtech: discover the ideation platform that enhance the value of microtechnology

The NTN Innovation Booster – Microtech is a program with the aim of improving the competitivity of Swiss microtechnology industry. Indeed, the program gather Microtech innovative ideas, valorize and finance them. Funded by Innosuisse from 2021 to 2024, the Microtech Booster is run by a consortium of six members working together to promote open innovation and collaborative projects for an innovative and competitive Swiss microtechnology industry. Headed by ARCM (Association de Recherche Communautaire des moyens de production Microtechnique), the project includes key players in innovation, such as Microcity, the Incubator i-moutier, aiti (Associazione Industrie Ticinesi), inos (Innovations Netzwerk Ostschweiz) and Association Switzerland Innovation West EPFL.

The Microtech Booster is open to all Swiss microtechnology players who wish to expand their network, improve their competitiveness, and plan their future by participating or proposing ideas or problems whose feasibility study will be financed by the booster.

Dr. Christian Bosshard
Dr. Christian Bosshard received his degree in Physics (1986) and his doctorate (1991, Silver medal award) from ETH. From 2001-2021 he was working at CSEM, first as Section Head and then as Vice President and Head Photonics. Since 2013 he is Managing Director of Swissphotonics. Christian is a Fellow of the Optical Society of America Optica, Board Member of EPIC, and Member of the Board of the University of Basel.
