Advancing photonics technologies and application driven photonics components and the innovation ecosystem

Horizon 2020 calls in Photonics (ICT-37-2020) are open for submission/partner search:

A consortium submitting to a proposal Advancing photonics technologies and application driven photonics components and the innovation ecosystem ICT-37-2020 is seeking various companies to complement the consortium:

• A company which works in the field of fibre communications for telecommunication or data communication applications. This company must be a manufacturer of electric-optic components.
• A company that makes sensors based on infrared spectroscopy; this could be industrial process monitoring (e.g. in oil and gas industry, pharmaceutical industry), food quality monitoring (e.g. milk, wine, cooking oil, etc), or gas sensors (e.g. for natural gas leakage detection, or environmental monitoring).  The company should be oriented towards making the sensing systems (but probably not individual components).
• A medical instrumentation company which can be able to manufacture instruments for disease diagnostics. This company should be ideally orientated towards primary healthcare centres. Besides, the company must provide microfluidics technology, which is needed to carry blood, urine, or any liquid sample towards the chips.
