Webinar organised by Swissphotonics NTN with the aim of introducing the participants to Innosuisse and pointing out the most important points in the application.
IM tips based on 400 supported project applications
We will cover the topics:
- Design of an Innosuisse research project
- From flight level 450 (executive summary) to sea level (quantifiable goals)
- What counts is what is written - Why important aspects often get forgotten
- Evaluation criteria in theory and what it means in authoring the application
- No risk - no fun: the importance of the risk analysis
- Your questions from FL 450 to sea level
Speakers
Dr. Gabriele Schwarz
Innovation mentor at Innosuisse - Swiss Innovation Agency, 3003 Bern & CEO
Innovista Management GmbH, 8707 Uetikon am See ZH
Gabriele Schwarz studied Information Management at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and earned her doctorate on the subject of logistics concepts in mechanical and plant engineering. She then worked at the university as a project manager in close cooperation with industry in the field of information, quality and process management in order to develop automated processes to simplify the handling of administrative tasks with machine tool and plant manufacturers, among others. Later she changed to the industry and took a share in an engineering company in Schaffhausen. As a project manager she was involved in engineering projects and with her business partner she realized a technology transfer concept for the Czech Republic and Switzerland to make research findings in mechanical engineering accessible to industries in both countries. In 2012 she founded her own company Innovista Management, which specializes in training and support of innovation and technology projects.
Gabriele Schwarz is a long-time expert for bachelor and master theses and is a lecturer for
Digital Innovation at the University of Zurich and a lecturer at various universities. She has been working as an innovation mentor since 2013 and supported more than 200 project proposals in the fields of ICT; engineering, energy and social sciences in this part-time workload.
Dr. Markus Ehrat
Dr. Markus Ehrat; Innovation mentor at Innosuisse - Swiss Innovation Agency, 3003 Bern & Partner
EK Biosciences GmbH, 4312 Magden AG
Markus Ehrat studied and received his doctorate in natural sciences at the ETHZ. He then researched novel, highly sensitive bioassay systems in the US before joining the chemical industry in Basel. As project, group and department head, he was involved in the research of novel analytical technologies, in particular for applications in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and diagnostic sectors. With a part of his team he founded a spin-off company where he was CEO. After its takeover by a large corporation, he continued to serve as head of the acquired unit and as a member of the company's Executive Committee. The R&D tasks required an active patenting and scientific publishing strategy, combined with the transfer of research results into quality-controlled production and the establishment of a sales structure. Markus Ehrat is a long-time expert for B.Sc. and M.Sc. theses at the FHNW and a lecturer of a master course at the ZHAW. As Head IM, he and his two colleagues in Central and Western Switzerland made a significant contribution to the development of CTI innovation mentoring from 2012 onwards. He has since supported over 200 project proposals in the fields of engineering, music, social and natural sciences. Now he is looking forward to your next challenge, true to the motto: The impossible is often what has never been attempted.

Gesuchsformular
