Dear Member of the Swissphotonics family
We are pleased to announce and invite you to one of our weekly online zoom events.
Light Pollution
Lighting installations have the task to illuminate target surfaces with a desired intensity and spectral distribution at specific times. This means that every photon that is not on a trajectory between a lighting fixture and its target surface contributes to light pollution!
We will take a look at the current situation, how light pollution impacts our environment, and why it strongly depends on where the photons are being generated.
Speaker
Dr. Harald Pier
