Innovate UK to visit Switzerland

Innovate UK, the UK government’s Innovation Agency funds the Global Business Innovation Programmes (GBIPs). These Programmes are specifically intended to identify, competitively select and then assist ambitious, innovative SMEs engaged in the research and development of cutting-edge technologies within the semiconductors sector, to internationalise their businesses.

This particular Programme is preparing 15 companies from all over the UK, for seeking business in Switzerland and also Germany, and will culminate in a visit to both countries during the week of 11th November, where they will seek to identify potential partnerships for technology collaboration within the Swiss semiconductors industry for possible development of cross border innovation projects.

The group will be visiting the Zurich area on 14th & 15th November and will be holding a networking event in Zurich during the evening of Thursday 14th November. The UK companies would welcome the opportunity to speak with interested organisations during the visit and in particular at this event.
